Have you heard of the Honeycomb Creative Works? It’s a fantastic programme that is being delivered by a partnership led by the University of Ulster and comprising Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) and Creative Skill set and is targeted at the digital content sector across the INTERREG IVA region of Northern Ireland, the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland and the western seaboard of Scotland.
Their aim is to address the economic, educational, social and cultural needs by focusing on SMEs, organisations and individuals that play a role, or have a vested interest in the development of the digital content sub sector, particularly those who work in:
- film and broadcast
- computer gaming
- interactive media
- music technologies
We were delighted to be awarded with the contract to plan, create and deliver a series of digital workshops as part of the Honeycomb programme. The workshops topics delivered included those on: Building communities on social media, Marketing for video, Planning a digital marketing strategy and Web analytics for content marketing strategies.
These sessions took place in Dundalk, Derry, Sligo, Letterkenny, Omagh, Newry and Leitrim.
Following this, in conduction with a video production partner we delivered a total of 8 digital e-learning videos under the following areas:
– Building your digital strategy
– Getting your business found via SEO
– Running effective PPC campaigns via AdWords
– Creating customer awareness on a shoestring via display advertising
– Communicating with the customer via social networks
– Getting the customer to return via email
– The why, when and how of using video
– Digital budgets and measurement
