We are delighted to welcome a new member of staff to the GlowMetrics team! Meet Niamh, who is just starting her placement year with us as a Digital Analytics Assistant! Niamh will be with us for the year, gaining industry experience to go alongside her degree in Business IT. Niamh has studied a range of modules at uni including Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Accounting and Fundamentals of Programming. Our new Digital Analytics Assistant is excited to get stuck in and learn all things digital.

We decided to do a few quick-fire questions, so find out more about her below…

So, Niamh, tell us a bit about yourself?

I am 19 years old and from a small town called Ballygawley in County Tyrone. I study Business Information Technology at Queens University Belfast and am currently on a placement year with GlowMetrics where I am looking forward to developing my knowledge of marketing and analytics and getting some industry experience.

•    If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Such a difficult decision but I would have to choose pizza. Anything without Pineapple suits me. 😉

•    What are you currently watching on Netflix?

I’m a real joker – I love watching comedy series. Friends and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are my go-to for a belly laugh.

•    Why GlowMetrics?

I was aware of the excellent programme they had to offer, and I have a real interest in marketing. Therefore, I wanted to expand my knowledge of digital marketing and analytics . I feel it’s vital to gain practical experience when studying. Employers appreciate the practical skill set as well as the degree. I am excited to grow at GlowMetrics, I already feel so welcome, a special thanks to the team! Here is to a great year 😊

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on Niamh’s development here. Are you seeking a placement for next year? Now is the time to start planning. We are always open to new talent to join the team if you or someone you know is seeking a placement contact us.

Good luck Niamh in your new role. Great to see a past St. Ciaran’s IT student doing so well. We are all very proud of you Niamh.
