TikTok has positioned itself as a leading social media platform. With its short-form videos, viral trends, and powerful algorithm. TikTok has captured the attention of a wide audience. With an estimated global user-base of over 1 billion, it’s difficult to find a brand that hasn’t heard of TikTok. TikTok has become the sixth most-used social media platform in the world in just a few short years. 

These are just a few of the reasons why so many brands choose to advertise on TikTok. In this blog we will look at the various paid ad types on TikTok to help you decide which is best for your business. 

 

In-Feed Ads

An In-Feed ad is a short video, or a still image, that appears in the ‘For You’ feed with the same look and feel as standard user posts.  

It features a clickable call-to-action that will drive users to your business account, to app downloads, or to external landing pages.

Image Ads 

You don’t have to make videos to advertise on Tiktok. Image ads are still images that include a brand or app name and ad text. Image ads may feature a picture in JPG, JPEG, or .PNG, along with text and a brand or an app logo.

This is one of the most common forms of TikTok advertising. Video ads are made by brands or creators and posted through a TikTok Ads Manager account.
